When we started HeySpender, we wanted to strip away the awkwardness of asking for help and replace it with something clear: a place to list what matters, share it with the people who care, and let Spenders contribute in seconds. We care about removing friction, because the moment someone decides to give should feel straightforward, not complicated.
The idea grew from everyday life, like planning celebrations, coordinating group gifts, and watching creators use tools that weren't built for direct gratitude. We kept returning to the same insight: when someone wants to chip in, the experience should be fast, trustworthy, and respectful of both sides.
